Hotels / Accomodations
The Washington, DC area hashes welcome out-of-towners to the DC Area Red Dress Run. If you have low confidence in finding a local wanker to shack up with, we suggest looking into a hotel. In fact, if you get a hotel in the right place, the wankers may come to you for the night.
While DC RDR doesn’t make any formal hotel arrangements, we can make a few recommendations. First, we recommend staying downtown and near a metro station. This will make it easier for you to get to our event and the others going on that weekend.
You can use your favorite travel and hotel site, SuperPages, or this site from the Washington Visitors’ Bureau to locate hotels downtown near the start/end venue. The address is 1315 K St NW, Washington, DC 20005.
This area is close to the McPherson square metro and neighborhoods -none of which really seem to have cheap lodging. There are lots of inns, bed-and-breakfasts, guesthouses, and boutique hotels if you’re up for that sort of thing.
