This week we're heading to Annapolis to celebrate Spinal Tap's 2nd Annual 69th birthday.  To make this day as special as possible, he's going to hare with a bunch of pussies.  Apparently he'll also be serving as ringmaster, but certainly it's more appropriate if gets to be a lion tamer with a chair and  whip.  Eh, just a thought.

Here in DC, or "Hollywood for Ugly People" as some idiots have dubbed it, we love ourselves some political gossip.  And when that gossip is a sex scandal, so much the better!  As a wanker with leftward leanings, I've watched the Larry Craig debacle with considerable schadenfreude. 

It occurred to me that since Senator Craig has probably engaged in sex on [the campaign] trail many times, he deserves a hash name!  Here's what I came up with... Since he was caught cruising for gay oral sex, but has denied being homosexual, how about: "Down But Not Out"?  And since his problems have stemmed from seeking satisfaction while in a restroom stall, I nominate: "Coming and Going". 

I'll now open for further nominations.  And now to the stuff you all actually care about...

From Points South and DC:
Get thyself onto 395 North into DC and exit at the end onto New York Ave, NW.  Stay in the right lane and turn right on to M St, NW, and then Left onto North Capitol Street.  Stay in the right lane and bear to the right onto Lincoln Rd after you have gone under New York Ave and crossed Florida Ave.  Take a right onto Rhode Island Ave, go under the train tracks at Rhode Island Ave Metro and then look for the Woodridge Branch Library at the Corner of 18th and Rhode Island Ave, NE.  Turn right onto 18th St, park, and hash.

From Points North
From the beltway, take Route 1 (Rhode Island Ave) into DC.  At 18th and Rhode Island Ave, NE, turn left, park, and hash.

Metro
Start is just over one mile from Rhode Island Ave Metro Station (Red Line), just off of Rhode Island Ave.  From the Rhode Island Ave Metro, you can catch one of the 80 series Metrobuses to the corner of 18th and Rhode Island Ave (don't forget to get a transfer pass on the Metro).
