Every year… a new hareraiser comes aboard promising to be next 'big and better'… whatever!! What was it last year?
Oh… RIGHT!! The… "Now with new and improved harerazor!"
So… we made HER one of the new GMs!! Along with "Slurpee", as GM… is Mr. Old School himself, "Puts It Out". Speaking of "Puts It Out"… I promised him that I wouldn't have pages and pages of 'intro' so that you wankers could get right to the directions!! I lied!!
However… if you want to avoid the Introduction… you can go directly to the Directions to the Hash
There was one trail last year that I hared in Tysons Corner and "Slurpee" comes up to me and she says, "This is outside WH4 Territory". And I asked her how she figured that as so? So she says… "Bowie is actually closer!!" Apparently, "Slurpee" used 'The White House' as the central point and when anyone asked for a hare date and offer her the location… she measured the distance from 'The White House'!!
We did inform her that… there were a few more hashers closer to Tysons than Bowie!! Thank goodness she agreed… because I would have hated to have moved the "Start" location to Bowie!!

Driving: (coin toss please… "Inside" the Beltway, but just barely!!)
From the Beltway I-495…
Find your way to the Beltway I-495… Take EXIT 51 for the Route 650, Gallows Road (if coming from the "Innerloop", it will be a RIGHT onto Gallows Road and if coming from the "Outerloop", it will be a LEFT onto Gallows Road).
Continue on Gallows Road for appros. ½ mile and turn LEFT onto Hemlock Drive. The school will be on your RIGHT, park and look for wankers milling around.
Now… the directions you ALL have been waiting for!!
From "The White House": 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20500
"Head" SOUTH on W. Executive Avenue, NW toward State Place, NW ~ Take the 1st RIGHT onto State Place, NW ~ Take the 1st LEFT onto 17th Street, NW ~ Turn RIGHT at Constitution Avenue, NW/Route 50 West…
If you can take HOV… Take I-66, West to the Beltway and follow the directions above…
Otherwise… continue on Route 50 West / Arlington Boulevard for approx. 7½ miles. Take a LEFT onto Route 649 / Annandale Road ~ Continue for approx. 2½ miles and turn RIGHT onto Gallows Road. Turn RIGHT onto Hemlock Drive. The school will be on your RIGHT, park and look for wankers milling around.
Miscellaneous: The Long Trail (R*nners' trail) is a "Live Trail", as usual for "Running Bare", Walkers' Trail will be pre-laid. Trail is A to B (Bag Vehicle will be provided).
Dog Friendly Factor: Tough Dogs Only!!
Stroller Friendly Factor: Not very friendly, Check with the "Running Bare" for options.
Final Disclaimer: Bring dry clothes and shoes and any young female virgins!! It should be chilly out… so dress warm.
