TWO TWO TWO trail announcements in ONE!

WH4 is hosting the November Full Moon Hash, or down below is the announcement for the normal Sunday afternoon trail.

Happy Full Moon!   Even though the actual full moon was last night, there will still be  plenty of moon this FRIDAY when WH4 sponsors the DCFullMoon hash.  It's in Falls Church and the weather man is calling for a clear dry night!

If you haven't run a fullmoon trail before, it's a monthly little "interhash" among the different kennels around Washington.  It most always runs on the Friday or Saturday closest the full moon and generally includes some food and a party venue afterwards.

 

Here's details:

November Full Moon hash:  Friday Nov 6.  Sign in starts 6:30 hares away 7:00.

Start:  "Karaoke Idol" 7151 Lee Hwy,  Falls Church, VA

Hares:  Underground Railroad, Coin Operated, Put It Out and Just Chip

Cost:  $15 which includes trail, beer and DINNER!

Directions:  Metro to East Falls Church and get a cab for about $5 to the start, or go to http://www.wmata.com and figure out a bus ride.  If you're driving come out Lee Hwy from Arlington area.  After you go through "down town Falls Church" (where Broad St crosses, State Theater, etc) it's about half a mile on the left, next to a stone yard and no-tell-motel.

Details:  Bring a headlamp (it's DARK at 7PM these days), dry bag and fresh clothes for afterwards.  Hares say there is a bunch of parking right behind where we will circle up for start.  Afterwards we have the entire restaurant (upstairs) to ourselves for dinner and down-downs and then can head to the basement bar for karaoke!

Take I-495 to exit 44, merge onto Georgetown Pike towards Great Falls VA.  Turn right on Linganore Dr. and left onto Linganore Ct. Park in the lot on the right before the bridge.  If you do not like my directions, google map them yourself at http://tinyurl.com/hash-1275. 

Miscellaneous: Trail is A – A and is not stroller friendly.  Feel free to take your four legged friends; however, they MUST be on a leash or you will be risking a fine.   As usual, bring a bag with dry shoes and clothes.  Boys, don't forget your deodorant.
