WH4 Hash 1177 -- Mar 9, 2008 -- Daylight Saving Trail

Everyone asks me

     Whats with your Format?
Why is it spaced out so much
     Dude, its a Haiku

5 syllables
7 syllables

O.k.
Normally, I don't write in haiku
but I do use a lot of line breaks
Just to break up the flow of what I'm preachin'

(Just wait until you try to figure out what it means when I write in parenthesis and "quotes" and ...)

Enough of that,
On to  ... Today's Rant ...

As they say
"A word to the wise is sufficient"

Young hashers, learn from your "elders"

A terrible thing happened on the way to the hash last week
My phone suffered from "Moisture Damage"
which would be really cool if it happened in the midst of a sexual tryst
(haha, that almost rhymes)

Moisture damage is I think what the people at SPRINT say when they have no idea why your phone won't turn on.

Ofcourse, I DO have the insurance on the phone,
which means I get to pay $50 for a replacement (in addition to the $3 a month for the last 12 months)
just to end up with a brand new, year old model!

but money aside,
I LOST ALL MY NUMBERS.

Now,
I consider myself pretty organized about numbers in my phone
(some would say "Biter")
I back up numbers all the time
but only the people I delete - Ex's, dead beat friends, random chicks from the bar that I never called.
This also helps prevent "drunk dialing"

So all my numbers,
GONE
Most of the people in there, I have email addresses for.
Many of them will randomly call me in the next few months and I will get their numbers back.

All the other numbers ...  *poof*

I consider this a "cleansing"

kinda like getting thrown in the Potomac after a long run
You don't appreciate it at first
but then you realize ... it was probably for the best.

A word to the wise is sufficient ... BACK UP YOUR DAMN CELL PHONE
