"I don't know about all of you, but ever since the hash went back to Sunday, my glue gun, cross-stitch, and scrapbook making stuff have been sitting in my closet collecting dust. Gone are the days of doing crafts while watching football and scratching my junk on Sunday afternoons - instead I've been running around in the cold with a bunch of wankers. Until now...
This Sunday after circle, the OnOnOn will be at JackOff Lantern's house. He'll have food, beer, and yes, glue guns and glitter aplenty! We'll be making masks to wear at the WH4 holiday party, and believe me, there are plenty of hashers out there that could use some feathers and foam to cover their faces. We might even be able to convince him to put some football on the television."
To further entice you, check out our two hash hotties modeling Carnival masks . You, too, can look this good at the holiday party, but only if you come make a mask! RSVP to this evite so JOL knows how much food to have ready. Please note that you'll need to bring $15 if you want to hash, eat and make a mask. I know it's an extra ten bucks, but you'd have spent that much at a bar anyway, so quit complaining.
Speaking of complaining, sign up for trails! I know I've threatened before, but this time if I'm forced to be an emergency hare, I'm going to find 3 miles of the straightest asphalt I can and do an out-and-back. Directions: Metro - Take the Blue Line, get off at Van Dorn exit. Catch the DASH BUS 2 towards Braddock Road metro at 2:40pm. Get off the bus at the intersection of S. Van Dorn & Stevenson at 2:55pm. Walk up Stevenson to start. If I were you, I'd go to wmata.org to double check this info or plan on walking 1.68 miles to start from the metro. Driving - take 395 to Duke St. Go EAST on Duke St., right on Walker St. CompUSA is at the intersection of Walker St. & Stevenson Ave. on your right.
