The White House Hash House Harriers
A drinking club with a running problem
Hash 1164 -- Dec 23, 2007 -- 3:00pm -- Shaw/Howard U Metro
Well, it's Christmastime. Again. That means a few things for the average hasher. You begin to feel less like a drunk because you go out drinking on weeknights with non-hashers like co-workers and family. Except that "normal" people are thinking, "whoa, I can't keep this up," and the average hasher thinks, "Why don't I stay out late boozing on Sunday nights more often!? Oh, how I've wasted my life!" It also means that WH4 is gearing up for their annual Holiday party and Mismanagement turnover event. (A couple MMers are very excited by this. I caught a few doing a little jig of joy.) The theme for this year's holiday party is Carnival. Apparently this entails beads -- I don't think I have to spell this out for you.
Anyway, in addition to beads, we'll have real food, lots of beer, open liquor bar, a DJ, and six hours to enjoy it all. Sign up online or print a flyer and sign up at a trail.
SIGN UP FOR TRAILS! There are two open in January and two in February. Your future hareraiser and I thank you. Check out the hareline and email me at blowsatranny@gmail.com This is really the best hashing of the year -- small packs, cold beer and cozy harriettes! What could be better?
