I love it when there's a hash event coming up. It means I can just talk about that in my intro instead of either (a) coming up with something original that may entertain the dimmer bulbs in the hash or (b) feel lame about posting links to things like videos of dogs pooping on babies.

Start: the grassy knoll at the corner of Ashby St and Potomac Ave, NW, just off of MacArthur Blvd.
Directions:
**Public transportation:
Metro to either Farragut West (Blue and Oranage Line) or Farragut North (Red Line), and catch the 2:23pm D6 bus in the direction of Sibley Hospital from the service roadway at the corner of Connecticut Ave and K St, NW. Get off the bus one stop AFTER the Palisades Library and look for chalk to start. Don't forget to get a transfer pass before you get on the Metro and you only pay 25 cents for the bus. **Driving:
From Virginia:
Coming over the Key Bridge: take a left onto Canal Road/M St and vear to right when it becomes MacArthur Blvd. After passing Palisades CVS/Safeway/Library, look for Ashby St on your left.
Coming over Chain Bridge: right onto Canal lRoad, left onto Arizona Ave, then a right onto MacArthur Blvd. After passing Starbucks, Listranis, etc, look for Ashby road on your right.
From Maryland:
Take MacArthur Blvd into DC and then follow Chain Bridge directions.
Miscellaneous: A to A. Bring a dry bag. Runner's and walker's trails not stroller friendly. Tough dog friendly.
